Lake IN the Lake Cabin

Are we ON the lake or IN the lake? Just our luck! We went for a quick weekend stay and arrived noonish on Saturday. We started with water pipe bust #1 shortly after. Poor Larry was working until about 745pm on pipe #4. We headed back to Conway, thinking it would be nice to have running water throughout the night! We arrived home by 840pm with 2 sleeping sweeties! Happy Valentine's Day to us!
Here are some shots of the other flooding- Greers Ferry Lake, which doesn't look too bad compared to last May.

1 more pic- SADIE DOG

I can't believe 14 years have flown by for our first born, Sadie. Sadie has also become very ill within the last month or so. She has been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. She now takes 3 heart pills a day. I pray that it's nothing to do with her two busy brothers! No, it's so sweet to see them stroke her head/back and tell her that they love her NOW vs. pulling of the tail and slobbering all over her head. Anyway, I thought this pic left some room for the imagination and showed nice patterns and textures, while filling the frame- a few things I notated from Wed. nights class! :)
May God Bless you Sadie! We love you dearly!

Photography Class

So, I started my photo class last night with Mike Kemp, who worked from our local Log Cabin Democrat for years and now works for our local Univ. of Central AR. I knew 3 people in the class and sat with a Jazzercise friend and stayed interested in the Power Pt. slide the whole time! I can't believe that I never got bored. I was even more intrigued when he gave homework! Yeah, maybe this is my calling! Here's a few shots that I'm sending in as homework. I'm working on getting a few more shots too!

First Official Golf Trip With Daddy January 2009

It was a beautiful afternoon and Daddy took an hour away from his busy schedule to come pick up these cuties! Larson got new clubs from his Pa and Pamaw for Christmas and he couldn't wait to try them out! Daddy said that Layton was actually the more interested one though. Larson just wanted to drive the golf cart! The boys will thank him for this wonderful memory!
Kudos goes out to Daddy!
