Welcome Summer 2008 Portraits

I wanted to share some pictures that my Dad and I took at Hendrix yesterday.

My boys tolerated posing (somewhat), but had a good time with the water and scenery of course. Nano is in the mix of pics, as she was a big help getting them to pose. I didn't think these turned out too shabby, compared to the studio status and prices!

Larson is now 3 1/2 yrs. and Layton is 18 mos. They truly have so much fun together at their stages of age right now. Mom and Dad are having a bit of fun too! :D

Poppy's Playground.....complete with a 2 slide gym, a "poppymade" seesaw, and many acres of beautiful green grass/tall trees/running stream/lawnmower trailer rides....a kiddos haven!

an entry fee, a train ride, an outdoor picnic, many exotic animals, and an amusement park merry go round.......PRICELESS... yeah right....be prepared with the big money....there went our summer vacation..Ha!

Wye Mt. Daffodil Field "My Little Seedlings"

What a beautiful warm and sunny day for pictures! The sun was in our eyes a bit and of course the boys were very busy in a huge field of fun! This was our 4th trip there, as Larson has been there every year since he was just 3 mos. old and able to lay on his blankie in the field! Just last year, Larson was able to help hold up little bro on his blankie....just look how big they've "bloomed" for our annual '08 spring trip!

A Playgroup success!

Winter Fun!!

Dad and Larson had a grand time in the snow. We had our first snow day this Winter on March 4th. It's the best kind of snow too...it was gone by the afternoon and the streets were clear! Larson got to put his snow board to use. Dad even put a rope on it and pulled him around the yard!
In the afternoon, Layton got to go for a very short walk along the sidewalk, as he's been sick. He was more thrilled about all the water draining out of the gutters, than he was the snow!
