May You Always Love School This Much!!!

University of Central Arkansas Child Study Center
4 Year Old Program- 2 full days this year (lunch and naps)! He was so excited to finally start back! For the last several weeks, he awoke asking, "Is today the day?" His first day was yesterday and when I picked him up, he said his favorite part was playing with his friend, James Patrick! Well big bro did fine, but lil bro was lost without Larson! "Where next, where next, get Larson, get Larson?" I can't count the times that I said "not yet!" Layton did go and stay at Poppy's house a few hours while I ran a few errands. It never phased him that I left him; (MR. Glingy) didn't even follow me to the door! They both are growing fast and furious! I called Larry and said, "Okay we've done our job and raised 2 secure and confident kiddos!" sniff, sniff. No, I didn't want either of them to cry for me, but once I'm out the door, I start to wonder if they're really okay! Now I know just how independent they are becoming! I know it will only continue in that direction, again, fast and furious! During this phase, I'll need much prayer and preparation! Nighty, night! :)

We're Still Here!!! May-Aug. Catch UP!!!

Oh my! It was March since I last updated the family scene! Well, my new little business is at "lift off." In addition, I'm the chair for my HS Reunion which is just 5 weeks away. We've been planning since February. I also passed up a chance to teach with my BFF a few days ago. I prayed and prayed, then both of the boys got summer colds, pink eye, then a stomach bug and I knew that my place was remaining here at home with them. They clung to me for days needing Mommy's tlc. Poor Daddy is feeling ill now! Larson will go 2 full days to UCA Ch. Study Center soon, and this is his last year before going off to K! Layton is still clingy, and would have went through culture shock if I would have gone back to the classroom. He has never been without me. He will adjust one day, I'm sure, as this time next year he will be in the 3s class at UCA as well. Well, I just had to blog tonight to add some Daddy photos and some summer fun stuff. Larry continues to put his family first and spend more and more time with the boys, knowing full well that they're in "lift off" growth mode! We have the best Daddy in the world! We are truly blessed! We've spent alot of time at the lakehouse at Greer's Ferry Lake, on our pontoon boat, swim lessons, Sonshine Academy gym, Peabody Park at LR Riverfront, our backyard pool, club pool, Jump Zone, gocart rides, AR Travelers Baseball game, and time with friends and family. To boot- Larson now swims like a fish! :) Here's a sample of some of those summer adventures: there's enough to make up for 5 months of absence! Some are mobile uploads and some are point and shoot- I leave the pro cam behind for the fun stuff! :) God bless!

Photography Class: Portraits

How the Lord has blessed my sis & I with precious miracles! All 4 kids are within 7 months apart! Brady is not pictured yet. He is next to come! So, here is cutie Kenzie! She will turn 2 in a few months! Sniff, sniff!
She was really more interested in what her cousins were doing around her, than posing! So I twirled her umbrella and got her in on the action! (above)

Here she grabs her skirt tail as to say "Okay, I've done my thing!" That was the last one and she was done! (to the right)

As for my 2, they are the best of buds these days and most days! They get out of bed looking for one another! They hug, recite each other's names, then chant "PLAY!" I couldn't get them to smile in coordination here, but wanted to get them in natural play mode anyway!

How great Thou art! You have blessed us beyond measure!

Architecture Photography: Photo Class 4

Here's some new Coney Garage Doors and our new line of shutters (custom built on location) that I photographed for hubby!
Want to add a new look to your current home? Call Coney's at 501-513-0510. Maybe that's why Larry got me this new cam for Christmas, so I can be his new marketing manager! :)

These pictures were taken in Maumelle and the LR Heights area. This one (far right) is from CHEERS in the downtown Heights. It's the same on the inside too! It was my fave!

Monkeyin' Around

Out enjoying the beautiful weather and don't forget the wind...
On this shot, I wanted to separate the kite from the clouds, by fading them out. Well, I guess it worked...a little too well! Where did the clouds go?

Thanks again Dad, for taking time out of your day and making memories with family!

It's an airplane! Oh no, it's just my kite flying away....brother's sneaky smile tells it all! :)

kisses please? fine maybe later...

okay, I'm ready....No? Maybe later..... :)
